Played a half dozen courses around Rochester this week and this one comes out on top. Main reason is the aesthetic layout. The greens don't catch great, but the beauty is an awesome experience.

Maple Valley is definitely one of the top golf courses in the area. The views really make it such an enjoyable time even if your golf game isn’t going so great! Such a great golf course!!

This course is beautiful but they are unable to accommodate large groups I called Monday morning ave talked with them to set up a private golf tournament for around 22 people and after no return phone call by Wednesday I called back only to be told now "we might not be able accommodate you" then after all that the manager finally called me back to tell me that the owner had decided maple Valley golf course would not be able to help us. I dont know if they truly couldn't help us or if was a case of discrimination due to the fact that its group of rough around the edges blue collar guys either way beautiful course played it many times years ago to bad.

This was a favorite course, staff is friendly and scenery is beautiful! I give it 3 stars because the bugs are often terrible, it can be hit or miss but when they are bad it's ridiculous. No bug spray helps. Wait until after a hard frost. The other issue in recent years are portable speakers. People playing music is fine, but so loud it can be heard and distracting is absolutely ridiculous. When I asked the desk about it they say there is nothing they can do about it. Sounds like they have no problem telling others they are slow etc. but not tell people to keep there music low so others don't have to listen to it while trying to golf. Last year we did not go to Maple for the first time in a decade. Hopefully it's getting better because it really is a nice course.

Very nice golf course a little off the beaten path. Course itself is in very good condition and the rough wasn't too terribly penal, unless you went WAY off the fairway. Greens held a well struck approach and tee boxes were in excellent condition. A visually nice course, but holes along the river can be intimidating. And you'll probably see some wildlife. This woodchuck decided to rest on the tee box. Bring bug spray! That was my worst part of the day and it had nothing to do with golf itself.
