Took three buddies from Chicago area to Legends last week. Course was in excellent shape and the staff is fantastic. The yardage signs that were added to each set of tees on the par 3’s is a nice touch and saves time. Shout out to Dave the starter, Maddie on the beverage cart, Abby in the pro shop and the two young ladies that shined up our clubs. Special shout out to Ben in the pro shop who volunteered to call us if an earlier tee time opened so we could hopefully beat the rain. Extra special shout out to Jet in the grill. He cooked up the best brats ever and carried on a great convo with us! Legends will always be their favorite course to play.

It’s a very beautiful course with great par 4s. Par 3s are awesome too but they have forced carry over water which can be challenging if you play with your kids . I personally didn’t like par 5s on this course. This course simply doesn’t have enough width to build a proper par 5 and hence you run into double doglegs and blind spots. Hope they can improve that

Came to the course on a golf trip from Wisconsin. Great conditions, great layout, good group pacing. We stayed after for food and had great service and a good meal. Hit all the marks!

Beautiful golf course and terrain. It’s a challenging course but not overly so. The quality here is competitive with many of the private clubs in the Metro. It does get a tad pricey, but they have a premium product here. Excellent use of tall grasses around the property. Trees, water, hills…everything to offer tons of natural beauty. Also, best breakfast sandwiches in town. Friendly staff, great food and outdoor patio. Excellent practice area, too.

My husband thought he would surprise me and bringing me here for Mother's Day. We usually golf here on special occasions, because my husband loves it there. Drove 40 minutes one way to play. This time is the last time we will ever be back. The course is in horrible shape. Most public courses look better. There were 7 holes that were cart path only, and of course they don't mention that, on the phone, on the website, at the counter. Hole ten has been down for over a year and the substitute hole for it is a joke, just no other way to put it. The cart kept stopping when the other cart in our group was fine. Then they both would randomly stop. We were so discouraged we decided to stop after nine and go to our local club. The club pro Nick was so rude, rolling his eyes and scoffing over our valid points. He is not any sort of professional. To have someone blantly disrespect you like that is shameful and wrong. Just the worst customer service Ive ever seen in my life! We paid over $400 for 3 people for this experience. No discounts for the course being under repair (no mention about repairs) and over 7 holes that are being reseeded so you can't drive on. This place has hit rock bottom. Don't waste your money.
