I didn’t have a great experience at the swan lake CC. I was treated rudely by one of the employees and felt very uncomfortable. I feel as though I was discriminated against. The employee’s name was Taylor, not sure last name.

I played this course on 5/14 with family. I had passed the course several times while traveling from the south to the Iron Range area but never had occasion to stop. I finally changed that, and I was glad that I did. This course was very reasonably priced for what I found. I would play this course again if the opportunity arose. We reserved a tee time for 4:30. When we showed up it was unclear whether there was a tee sheet for reserved tee times. Nonetheless, we got on quickly. The course was very busy because the weather was beautiful: 66 degrees and sunny on a May day. There was a foursome in front of us who did an acceptable job of keeping pace; we finished our round of 9 holes in an hour and fifty one minutes. I doubt if there was a hole that did not have a group on it while we played. The course has several water hazards and elevation changes. A few holes are flat enough to remind you of a course in Florida that lacks elevation changes. There was occasional dryness throughout the course, which was surprising given the amount of rain that has fallen since the middle of April. The greens were all in good condition, and were not too difficult to read. The riding carts were clean, and the staff on duty in the clubhouse was attentive.

Very disappointed in this golf course. Our group of 4 had reserved a Tee time. There was a scamble going on that day at 6pm so they gave us the last Tee time of the day at 7. I get there at 6:50 after driving 3 hours one way to be told that I wasn't allowed to golf. The scamble had started later then expected and they refused to let us go out after them.The wheather was perfect and they didn't even bother trying to call us back so we could possibly try and find a Tee time somewhere else.

First time playing there. Fun course. I will go back and play there again soon.

Great bartender. Don't know if they are open to the public
