“Owner” screamed at our group and almost hit us multiple times on purpose. Drove an hour and a half to try a new course today with family. The course was packed as one would expect for Memorial Day weekend, and we had a group of 5 players. We did our best to keep up with pace of play, as on every hole we waited for the group in front of us. Pretty quickly (hole 3) the group behind us began hitting into us and had balls land within 10 feet of us multiple times. Towards the end of the front 9 one of the people in our group went back and politely asked them to stop hitting into us because they almost hit us and we were going as fast as we can. They responded with a lot of hostility, and told us it’s not their problem we’re being slow. On hole 18 after the rest of the round, of being hit into, one of our group members drove on the grass where it was carts only (completely our fault and we moved onto the path) but anyway the man pictured screamed multiple times, and then drove on the grass himself to come yell at two group members, and we told him to just go away and he screamed that he was the course owner and that we were ruining his entire round. We finished the hole and went in to talk to whom I believe to be the pro, and he was amazing and apologized for the persons actions. However afterwards one of our group members went to him to tell him that how he acted made golfing for the first time in 15 years not fun and rushed, and he proceeded to say that he’s an owner and wants the place to be the best course around, and we had said we understood that but at no point were we the group slowing everything up, every hole was backed up, it’s a busy weekend of golf! Overall our group had a fun round, but having these people who are “owners” of the course treat us like that, we will NOT be going back. The course was beautiful and clearly well maintained, everyone we talked to for the majority was awesome, the only reason this review is 1 star is because of how the “owners” screamed at us and almost hit us multiple times, that behavior is inexcusable. That course is truly a beautiful place, and has potential to be what the “owners” want, but they cannot treat paying customers that way, its truly a shame.

Nice hidden gem! Really enjoyed the layout and the mixture of links style holes and tree lined holes. Greens run true and some really nice scenic holes with water. Course also has some elevation, making it a great challenge. Service was good and people were friendly. We will definitely be back soon! Highly recommend taking the drive and checking this course out, it's worth it.

Love our golf course and a great place for golfers of all skill levels. Each time we head out I see improvements and can tell they are working to make it better. They brought back the kids mini camp and our kids love it! Hidden gem in our small town

This course should be $10 to play 18 holes with a cart. 1.) The driving range is turf, and the course is grass. 2.) Fairways are 20 yards wide. So if you’re lucky/good enough to hit a fairway, then there’s trees that hang over the fairways and greens on at least half of the holes. This is also the case on par 3’s. 3.) 90% of the holes go from fairway to trees, zero chance for birdie if you miss a fairway on a par 4 or 5. 4.) The “rough” grass is worse grass than the grass in my backyard, not an exaggeration. 5.) Very rare to find a flat tee box. So golfers, if you want to spend $50 for 9 holes where you can hit good shots and get punished for it, this is the course for you! The owners don’t care about the place at all, just getting money in their pockets.

First off: Course is pretty nice for this time of the year. Second: The course is pretty nice to play at until you come across one of the "owners" that are playing behind you. Because he'll use you for target practice while you're playing at pace. It doesn't matter if you're waiting for the group in front of you to clear. As its a really nice memorial day weekend so places are gonna be full and it takes time and patience so everyone has a good time. The facility shouldve let everyone know that the "owner" is playing so they can roll the red carpet out and stop what they're doing. Yes we made a mistake and we own it. But for that guy to come swearing and screaming at us about it while doing the exact same thing hes yelling at us while saying he's the "owner" is ridiculous. If thats how an "owner" treats the people that pay the bills and his way of life. Then the place shouldn't be open or someone new needs to take over. Someone that treats everyone with respect. Im not much of a review person unless its something ridiculous. I won't be back until the "owner" is no longer part of the business. So beware that you might come across an owner that'll treat you like this.
