Description

Lanesboro's hilltop nine dates to 1929 and looks out over the Root River valley. The par-35 scorecard is modest in yardage, but side-slopes and small greens quickly punish imprecise approaches. Wind is a frequent companion, adding teeth to the par-3s and the longer par-4s. The club operates with friendly, community-driven hospitality and very approachable rates. It's a charming stop when touring the driftless bluff country in southeast Minnesota.

Great little course! Kids first time golfing and they had a blast. Get a cart for all the hills. Food in the club house was really good as well.

Greens in very good shape. Fairways are dry, hard and steep. Had a tee time for 11:00....no carts until after 12:00. If you call one person will say we don't take tee times, and another person will say they do???

The views are beautiful, we rented clubs and a cart. So fun! Saw deer and wonderful course. The bar was so friendly, we stayed for dinner.

Play this course a lot every year lot of good friends wonderful bar good food lots of fun very difficult course let's put it this way you better not have a slice
