The Royal Golf Club is an incredible venue for a wedding! As a wedding photographer, the amazing landscape makes for endless photo opportunities! I’ve had the pleasure of photographing several weddings here and it’s always wonderful! Meredith and all the staff were so prompt and helpful! I’d recommend it!

Royal Golf Club is beautiful and the majority of our wedding was lovely. The Event Coordinators were generally very prompt in responding to any questions I had, and were very helpful throughout the entire planning process. We did have a couple issues leading up to our wedding day and on the day of the wedding; specifically regarding catering pricing changes and a lack of communication about specific pre-approved items to all of the staff present on our wedding day. This added stress and tension during our wedding that I feel could have been avoided/prevented. The event coordinators were very receptive to my feedback, took these shortcomings seriously, and did what they could to make things right for me after the fact, which was very much appreciated.

We have photographed and filmed many weddings at the Royal Golf club and each and every one of them has been so beautiful and fun. The venue is stunning, lots of great options for photos, and the staff is friendly. If you're looking to get married next to a lake in Minnesota and want the convenience of having everything all in once place, the Royal Golf club is a great wedding venue! Also, the golf course is dog friendly and they let one of our couples involve their cute pup as their flower girl

Beautiful and challenging course. The course was in excellent condition today. They are doing a lot of work on a few holes to improve it even more as well! It was awesome to play on Annika first and Arnie's last. A few holes are deceving on how "easy" they appear, but the greens will challenge many people. The putting green and short game area were great! Little annoyed that the driving range was mats only, bad mats at that. But at this time of year it can be expected some places. Definitely looking forward to coming back in peak season when it's calmer and warmer!

Had a blast out here. Amazing views of this special course, restaurant and clubhouse. Giant putting green, chipping green and full driving range at this top notch course in Lake Elmo. Excellent customer service. Greens run amazingly true with lots of undulation. Good tip; buy the course book with hole layouts for 10$. Can’t wait to go back for another amazing experience.
