Kimball Golf Club began as a Joel Goldstrand nine in 1968 and expanded to 18 holes in the late 1990s, weaving new holes among the originals. The modern routing uses rolling topography and mature trees to create a varied test with attractive vistas and plenty of shot-making options. Goldstrand's fingerprint shows in risk-reward doglegs and green complexes that favor smart approaches over brute force. From the back tees it stretches into the mid-6,600s, yet multiple tees keep it approachable for everyday play. Conditions are consistently praised, and the club has become a value favorite in central Minnesota.

Fun and affordable course with some challenging holes. Played in early April and the greens were in great shape. The club house staff and course layout is awesome and that is key to my return!

Very attractive course. The course is fun and not overly challenging, but not a walk in the park either. Tee boxes and greens were in good condition (8/16/25). Great deal on 6-packs for the course -- way better deals than other courses nearby. (They serve Twisted Tea pounders!!) Would recommend.

I absolutely love this course—it’s a 10/10 and I highly recommend it. My two young sons feel genuinely welcomed here as they learn the game, even though they occasionally find the undulating, technically challenging greens a bit frustrating. Bring bug spray if it’s been wet and the wind is low. Horse/deer flies.

Very challenging course at a very reasonable price! Would highly recommend!

Carts full of trash and spilled beer/pop not cleaned. Course not well maintained, overgrown fairways and roughs. Not friendly play to the average golfer anymore. Has gone down hill since new ownership
