Beautiful course and club house. The women’s bathroom was also stocked with any necessities you need. Course does get backed up (we ended up joining another 2 some with the back log on the back 9). Also watch where you park your car. Not the courses fault but as we were packing up the car a ball came flying into the parking lot and hit a car. The golfers came down and then ran off when I told the couple they hit a car.

A great "hidden gem" if you are in the Brainerd/Nisswa area. The course is always in phenomenal shape, and the service is outstanding. The golf course is challenging but fair. There are very few flat fairways - lots of hills and elevation changes. The property is cut out of the woods, so there are plenty of holes in which a wayward tee shot can be troublesome. Compared to some of the other "premier" courses in the area, Golden Eagle is a great value. We were able to finish a round in about 3 1/2 hours this past weekend. Highly recommended.

Great course in the lakes area with amazing views. Deep wooded holes, decent caries, and insane slope will effect your game here for sure. The layout is very nice with some long strolls through the woods to elevated tee shots. The greens played at a nice speed and the course was in great shape. Loved playing here.

Super fun course that makes you place your shots and hit some very difficult shots over hazards. Even on a wet dreary day this course is incredible.

I played Golden Eagle for the first time this summer and enjoyed it so much I made the trip back up from the cities five more times. My favorite trip was this fall when the leaves were changing colors, it was absolutely stunning. I overlooked Golden Eagle in the past because of the other great courses in the Brainerd lakes area, but I won’t make that mistake again, phenomenal golf course! The staff is always polite, accommodating, and willing to help. The greens roll so perfectly, the fairways are like carpet, the rough is lush and fair, and the tee boxes are flat and very well maintained.
