overpriced course- lack of amenities- driving range always beat, no water stations, slow pace of play. Send groups off front and back on weekends. Read a lot of reviews and most of them are consistent to what I experienced. Beverage cart is only stationed on one hole and does not ask if anything is needed- just sits there waiting for you to approach. Greens were pure though- don't plan on returning.

Overall the course (greens, fairways, etc.) were nice and well maintained. But for almost $100 a round, not worth with the price. Tee times stacked on top of one another (we were constantly waiting for the group ahead to play and had the group behind us right on our tail, other groups constantly in our fairway chasing their balls), carts and gps were dated, no beverage cart to be seen the entire round. With other courses in the area $10-$30 less with just as nice of course, up to date carts, tee times spaced appropriately, actual beverage cart service, even free range balls, its hard to justify coming here for the price. Course was fun but no intention of returning soon with the current rates.

This was my husband and my first time to golf Southern Hills Golf Course. We were paired with two gentlemen who golfed there weekly. They were delightful, helpful and friendly in guiding us around hazards and bends in the fairway.( Plus they were stellar golfers. ) It was an enjoyable 9 holes kind of morning. We’ll be back!

Very unpleasant staff. When we first moved here, several people told us they didn’t recommend golfing here. We ignored the warnings because it’s a beautiful course and very close to home. I get it now, though. We have golfed here quite a few times, and unfortunately, nearly every visit has involved an unpleasant interaction with the staff at the check-in desk. Outside of one or two visits, the employees have consistently seemed miserable and have been rude to us. Most recently, we called today and the staff member was so unpleasant on the phone that I told my husband we should golf somewhere that values basic customer service. He agreed, said never mind, and ended the call. After repeatedly having negative experiences with the staff, we’ve decided to take our business elsewhere. I do want to note that the woman who runs the concessions stand is the exception. She is always friendly, welcoming, and a pleasure to interact with. The disappointing part is that the course itself is beautiful. Aside from the occasional issue with tee times being scheduled too closely together, the golfing experience is excellent. If the customer service matched the quality of the course, we would definitely be regulars.

Great course to play, fantastic staff. I think it's a bit expensive at $95.00 a round. There should be senior rates on the weekend as well. There are other courses locally that cost less but play as good as Southern Hills. I will still play this course , just not as often. Also, the group does not like teeing off at number 10 first. It's straight into the sun in the early morning and that makes seeing the ball difficult for us. Not sure if they are only letting members tee off on number 1 or what.
