As a photobooth operator with Complete Weddings & Events, I’ve had the opportunity to experience Northland Country Club, and it’s a beautiful and well-kept venue for weddings and events. The setting is one of the biggest highlights. Located along Lake Superior, the venue offers stunning views and a peaceful, elevated atmosphere that really adds something special to any event. The surrounding landscape and classic country club feel create a more upscale and timeless vibe for guests. From an event perspective, the space is very functional and well laid out. There’s plenty of room for entertainment like a photobooth while still maintaining a natural flow between the reception, dining, and social areas. When guests can easily move around the space, it helps keep the energy up and encourages more interaction throughout the night. Another standout is how organized and professional everything feels. Venues like this that are experienced with hosting events tend to run very smoothly, which makes a big difference for both vendors and guests. It allows everything to stay on schedule and creates a more stress-free experience overall. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our wedding reception at Northland Country Club was absolutely perfect — truly everything I hoped and dreamed it would be! From the very beginning, Lacey, the event manager, was incredible to work with. She was kind, attentive, and personable every step of the way — answering every question, helping me bring my vision to life, and going above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Her attention to detail and genuine care made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about the outdoor patio, which made the perfect setting for our cigar bar. The venue itself is elegant yet welcoming, and the staff — from the chefs to the waitstaff and bartenders — were all so professional and kind. We are beyond grateful to Lacey and the entire Northland team for making our wedding day unforgettable. If you’re looking for a stunning, well-run, and truly special place to celebrate your wedding, Northland Country Club is it.

The most challenging greens I've tried to read in MN, the clock guide was challenging to try and decipher. Can't wait to play it a 2nd time, definitely a few holes where an iron off the tee takes trouble out of reach. Backdrop views of superior were breathtaking

PERPLEXED, I believe is the correct term for my first visit to Northland Country Club. Trust your feet and never your eyes on the greens was the advice that held the most weight by an employee. These greens are the most challenging in Minnesota, but are in perfect shape so if you guess right a putt could see the bottom of the cup. Jake, the superintendent, has this place looking immaculate even through a remodel back to its original design. It’d be a privilege to have the opportunity to play this course again. Until next time!
