This course is a gem! The course was in great shape, greens were fast, fairways were smooth and the views were picturesque. Hole 5 was my favorite with a slight dogleg right off the tee and a sloping fairway hitting down to the green. The course nods to their namesake with beautiful wildflowers and prairie restoration areas. Beautiful mature trees which makes for a couple challenging tee shots. Highly recommend, it’s a great getaway with friends and family with lodging across the street at Fair Hills! Fair Hills has something for everyone to accommodate all personalities and interests.

Went up to Wildflower earlier this week for the first time. Absolutely fell in love with the course. Such a great layout and all of the staff was wonderful. Greens were some of the best I've played in MN this year. Can't wait to go back!

Very good course. Super greens. Mostly links style. Beautiful. Plays long. Very challenging. Very good conditions tee to green. But the rough and tall rescue is brutal. I recommend playing.

Wildflower GC in Detrot Lakes, MN is a hidden gem that has been quietly gaining notiarroty in the upper midwest golf word and for good reason. The course has some wild elevation throughout the "prairie links" layout, including a 90' drop tee to green on the par 4 5th. The par 4 4th plays almost as equality uphill to balance it out! The greens were awesome with differnt levels and unique undulations that made for some creative putting! The course is part of Fair Hills Resort on Pelican Lake, making it the perfect weekend destination for boating, golf and relaxing! They also have a 9 hole executive course across from Wildflower that looks awesome! Next time I'll deffinatly be checking it out! Wildflower is a course that is a ton of fun and will leave you wanted to loop back to 1 and go again!

This course is absolutely amazing! Some of the most challenging greens I have played in the state but they run incredibly true. The hole designs are phenomenal and the views stunning. It is in fantastic shape, I couldn’t recommend it more. One of my favorites!
