We have had an amazing trip here. We came in off season so I cannot speak to peak summer time. We felt like we had the resort to ourselves. Our cabin was nice, clean and well stocked with dishes. We enjoyed lots of time in the pool, game area, and doing the scheduled crafts. The staff was so kind to us, and made our trip so much more enjoyable with all the small talk. We ate at the restaurant and loved it, and spent at minimum an hour every day playing games in front of the gorgeous fireplace in the restaurant lobby. The old photos of the resort and family that ran the place really add to the historic charm.We can’t wait to plan another trip here!

Nice big rooms, a little dated, and on the lower end. Location is great. I was there for a wedding. The reception room was nice and the food was great, the halls were a bit dank and we had to walk through the pool area to get to the reception. Overall as expected, with the food quality being an upside.

Wonderful property and pleasant staff. If contemplating a stay here ensure the property has all the amenities available before reserving. Several were not AND the well advertised on site restaurant's buffet wasn't even available nor was the on site Antie Ms coffee/ice cream shop. It was like we were given access to the entire resort but they were operating on a limited staff resting up for the huge Octoberfest scheduled the following weeks.

I recently took the whole family for a week and celebrated my birthday. The outdoor pool is gorgeous especially in the evening, the food has improved greatly and my birthday dinner did not disappoint. Alex and his team have made real improvements in food quality and service. The Friday seafood boil was outstanding! The grandkids enjoy the beautiful beach and the options of pools or lake. We had some issues with our Villa, but maintenance dealt with it immediately. Great to see college kids coming back and helping out. This resort is a gem and we are looking forward to returning next year.

A serene lake side resort that offers nice amenities for anything looking to get away and enjoy some time on the water. We went up during their annual October fest which was an absolute blast! There were a ton of vendors there and everyone was so friendly! Highly recommend coming here!
