A classic 18 just west of the Twin Cities corridor, Oakdale stretches over rolling countryside near Buffalo Lake. Fairways are lined with mature trees and punctuated by well-placed bunkers. The course asks for consistent tee-to-green execution rather than raw power. Multiple tees make it playable for all skill levels. It's a long-running favorite for league and casual play in Renville/McLeod counties.

Course is really nice, and easily walkable. The people who run it really know what they’re doing. Friendly staff. I can’t say enough good things. Looking forward to my next visit.

The food is good. The food price is decent. The portions are fair. The course is nice and reasonable with a cart. A bit too busy for me though.

I had the opportunity to play Oakdale on Friday and the course is in great shape. The hospitality from the staff was amazing!!! Clubhouse has a classic field and the hand painted tables of each hole were awesome. Greens rolled great and the extra touches like cup liners, perfectly manicured fairways with immaculate cutting patterns and ground under repair being properly marked all made this seem like a Country Club Experience!! I would drive out to Oakdale again in a heart beat.

The hidden gem. Mike and Laura are incredible owners who take pride in their course. Fun yet challenging, open and tight at the same time. It worth the drive to this fabulous golf course. One of the best courses in the upper Midwest.
