Madden's is a well-loved resort reminiscent of days gone by. The staff are very friendly and I must say that the housekeeping crew made hospital folds to the bedsheets and you practically need a crow bar to turn the sheets down, and I LOVE IT! Those beds were wonderfully made. However, beyond the housekeeping crew's control is how shabby the rooms are. The carpets are frayed and the furniture is old, however the expectation is probably that you'll be out enjoying the resort rather than sitting in your room. The outdoor property is meticulously maintained, the golf course is beautiful, and the lake view is fantastic. I'll still come back, but it's a shame they can't update the rooms and lobby.

What a wonderful place for a conference! The setting is beautiful. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was friendly and respectful. Food was fabulous and exceeded my expectations for gluten free (due to Celiacs). There was so much to do and so much space to do it in. Absolutely spectacular!

Madden's Mother's Day Buffet was absolutely divine. From the moment we stepped in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with soft lighting and a beautiful view of the lake. The spread was just incredible, fresh seafood, prime rib, artisan breads, and a dessert table that was like a dream. Every bite felt like a celebration, and the staff was so attentive. It was truly a perfect way to honor moms.

Maddens Resort offers everything from excellent service to extraordinary panoramic views. I cannot say enough, good things about all of the staff members. They were all so kind, so helpful and very knowledgeable. Each one made our experience memorable in a very positive way.

The breakfast was delicious-many foods to select from-always enjoy the Carmel rolls. I’ve been coming here off and on for 50 yrs. It keeps improving!
