Great place if you like being active on vacation! Many options for activities no matter what day you stay. Staff at every place we visited was friendly and ready to assist if we needed. Bingo was a lot of fun at the golf course club house. Pool area was spacious but not overwhelming. Breakfast buffet was worth every penny. Rooms were cozy and clean. We rented a fish house as well, which was a lot of fun. Only caught 1 walleye but it was nice to be out with such little preparations. Will return to see this place in action during the summer months, for sure!

Working weddings at Cragun’s with Complete Weddings + Events has consistently been a smooth experience. From a DJ and operations standpoint, I really value how well the venue team communicates and supports the overall timeline. The setting is beautiful on its own, but what stands out to me is how professionally everything comes together behind the scenes, which allows couples to fully enjoy their day. Not to mention, the amazing renovations that the Cragun's team is currently working on; which will leave current and past visitors in awe, and new visitors speechless for coming across an incredible gem of a Venue.

As a DJ for Complete Weddings + Events, I love how the lakeside setting creates a romantic and grounded ceremony experience. When we move into the reception, the energy builds quickly and the dance floor becomes the heartbeat of the evening. It truly feels like a full wedding weekend, not just a single day.

I've been going to Cragun's ever since my brother and I were just little kids, even as an almost 31 year old adult, I still love Cragun's. I usually go in the summer with my family, but this time I decided to take my fiancée for our three year anniversary. It was my first time going during the winter (beginning of Spring) and her first time overall. It's definitely not as fun as the summertime, but we had an amazing time. I didn't know they were doing construction, so things are definitely different from when I was here last! The beds are actually really comfortable, their fleece blankets are big, warm and absolutely perfect for snuggling under, plus you get plenty of pillows! A lot of things were closed like Irma's kitchen and the sporting & event center due to a Darts competition, but we still made the most of our stay. The reason for my 4/5 stars is because cabin 695 has some minor issues with it. × In the room with the bunk beds, the bathroom shampoo dispenser cover is coming off when you push the button (not a big deal but kind of annoying). × The screen door for the deck is ripped which obviously isn't a big deal now, but could be for the summer. × There's a large crack going down the door leading into the master bedroom. You can see through it, so it could be a privacy issue for some. × The heat in the second bedroom (not the master bathroom) wasn't working. Not a big deal for me, but I noticed it wouldn't turn on. Otherwise overall our stay was lovely. I love Cragun's, it brought back so many memories, and even though the weather was cold, and gloomy, it didn't damper our vacation. I definitely recommend coming up to Cragun's either during the heart of winter when they've got all their activities going on, and DEFINITELY during the summer! Thank you Cragun's for making our three year anniversary one to remember. You will definitely be seeing us again!
