The course was absolutely beautiful! Well kept all around! Nice golf carts with gps (with the larger cup holders!) I had high expectations with the price point at $95, (including a $30 discount after 3pm.) I was disappointed to be informed on arrival that our scheduled tee time, with email confirmation, somehow was “not showing on their end.” Seemingly double booked.. This was especially concerning as we drove 45min each way! However, the staff was very friendly and luckily got us on the course right away. We were thankful to the other groups to let us play thru on several holes! I was also very surprised that ball cleaners were scarce and I only found around 2 that were not bone dry. Overall great course and experience! Would recommend! Update* gotta give 5 star, immediate response from the owner, outstanding course! Will be seeing you again soon!

First time here... Great dinner, fantastic service. Doing a stay and play for 2 nights and 2 rounds of golf. Really nice rye Manhattan for dessert. Came up from Michigan City for our anniversary weekend. We will certainly be back.

We love playing Hawkshead every summer. Great track. Fun layout with lots of dunes and sand. Always a pleasure.

Golf course and clubhouse recently renovated. I have been playing here for 25 years and it's a favorite. Course redesign is incredible. I wish they would update the snack area. We used to grab lobster bisque at the turn but that changed in 2020. It's time to bring it back! Beautiful weather and a really fun track to play.

First time playing at this hidden gem of a golf course. True links style course located in South Haven Michigan. For as long as I have been going to South Haven I never knew this course was there. Pro shop is a little on the small side but well stocked and the staff was friendly and helpful. I believe it has a restaurant next to the Pro shop but I did not get to go in there on this trip. We started on the back nine and right away I was impressed with the course. The conditions were fantastic. The greens were in excellent condition, the fairways were well mowed and the rough was somewhere you did not want to be. The entire course is lined by trees but they should never come into play. The fairways were wide and lined by bunkers, tall grasses and definitely not flat. The cart paths were in great shape as well and paved. The course layout is awesome and fun to play. I would have to believe this is a course for every skill level. My only regret is that I only played 18 holes. This is a must play!
