Didn't stay at the resort. Not sure how the hotels are. The golf courses need a lot of work before they're worth how much you have to pay to play them. We played the gailes and that may have honestly been one of the worst course experiences I've had for an $80 Tee fee. We booked last minute and this was one of the only tee times that we had available unfortunately. But I would much rather pay an extra $100 in golf 25 minutes north then play at that Resort ever again. Not worth the money, not worth the time, only redeeming quality is the lady who runs the Snack Shack. She was awesome 10 out of 10 great lady. P.S. the fairways are pretty much just the rough. So expect to hit out of Long Grass even if you hit in the Fairway. Besides that the best part of this course was The View.

5 stars for a post-apocalyptic vibe, 3 stars overall ​Credit where it's due: the fairways are really nice. Everything else, however, feels like it was frozen in 1995 and then left to fall apart. Due to a recent fire, the clubhouse is currently operating out of a tent, and the surrounding property is pretty severely neglected. If you’re looking for a post-apocalyptic golf adventure with great grass, this hits 5 stars easily. If you're expecting a polished golf resort, it’s a solid 3.

We just had an incredible stay at Lakewood Shores. Even for the beginning of May with unfavourable weather conditions, the course was in great condition, considering. I’m sure that it is a beautiful spot in the summer time. What really blew us away was the hospitality in hosting our 24 man golf trip. The staff and owners went out of their way to help us feel welcomed, and it was so appreciated. The rooms are a 3/5 at best - out dated and could be cleaner, but we weren’t there to sleep. Perfect for a golf weekend out, but maybe not a date night stay. 5/5 stay overall. Highly recommend!

Once again, our annual golf trip to Lakewood Shores was fantastic. The courses were in great shape, and the service that we had received was top-notch. The staff had done exceptional by providing the best service possible after the fire. I thank all of them for their hard work and look forward to next year when the new clubhouse is up and running. Thank you to all involved!

First time visiting as part of a stay-and-play package. You can tell it was a great resort 30 years ago, but not much has been updated since then. The Gailles course needs some love to return to anything special. Sarabella seemed to be better, but could use work. Accommodations were standard, clean motel style. We were with a group and had 4 rooms. All of the light fixtures in all 4 rooms were missing a bulb. Don't know if there was a purpose , but just seemed odd. The temporary set up for the "clubhouse" is working ok while the new clubhouse is being built. The biggest frustration was the service-staff didnt really offer any information about how things worked unless you knew what to ask. For example, no mention to us before we headed out to the Gailles that it was an out and back course with no water, drinks, food available for the whole round (including no bev cart service). Will probably not come back until after the clubhouse is done, but the $99/person with 2 rounds and an overnight wasn't unreasonable.
