We recently had a 16 person guys golf trip weekend and we all stayed comfortably in the McKenzie Cottage on the resort property. We had an extremely enjoyable experience. All of the staff were extremely accommodating and kind. We were given access to 8 golf carts which came in handy more times than expected. The pool, hot tub, dining and even Luau were easy to access by golf cart and always enjoyable. The golf courses were awesome. This is an annual golf trip where we try different courses each year however this is the 1st year we are considering going back to the same destination. I highly recommend Manistee National for any type of golf trip.

Hotel rooms are dated but very clean and comfortable. A little cumbersome getting from the hotel to the golf course. The course is beautiful and extremely well maintained, but the carts are older and not as well appointed as modern carts. No sand bottles for filling divots, no beverage cart, no coolers on the carts. Needs a few upgrades but that would raise the very reasonable cost to play. Had a great time.

Fantastic golf outing! So nice to have your place to stay right at the course. They have 3 courses to choice from. One being a simple 3 par but the other 2 are challenging! Friday night has fun outdoor entertainment and a delicious pizza truck!

My family and I stayed in a double suite Friday thru Saturday for a birthday getaway. We had 8 in our party, which included 2 special needs adult children and 2 little’s!! We were greeted with friendly faces and helpful staff❤️❤️ Although we do not golf, the hotel amenities and ambiance were fantastic!! Indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, gym, restaurant and bar!!! Friday night brought out live music, yard games, brick fire pizzas, and fire pits!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and shout out to staff member Trent Partridge for hosting us🤩🤩

Up in the area on vacation, played this course on Wednesday and ended up needing to play again on Thursday. This course is moderately priced for the experience. Extremely well maintained fairways and greens, you will not have a single complaint. Be careful with ball placement as the greens have plenty of undulating. Recommend giving it a play!
