Old style golf course built in 1923. Fairways running along side each other. Course was in decent shape, green were very nice. Reasonably priced, crowded because it is a public course. Lots of history here. Fun to play occassionally.

This course has gotten a lot of shit talk in the past but i just played here on 06-01-2026 and i gotta say i was impressed. Coming into the round i truly expected it to be shitty but pace of play wasn’t terrible, round was completed in 4 hours and 9 minutes (Walking on to first tee to walking back to the car). Greens were kept in good condition. Fairways were nice. Players were nice too. Only reason I’m giving 4/5 stars is because of the over priced foo at the club house. $11 for a dog and some Fritos is a bit much… Other than that, great golf. I’ll be back forsure.

What a pleasant surprise this course is! I hadn’t played Rackham in years, mostly because it was such a dump. But my partner and I wanted to play a quick nine holes so we decided to give it a try. The course is in great shape largely due to Doug, the greens keeper who was hired from Shenandoah Country Club 8 years ago. Not the most difficult course I’ve played, but what it lacks in water is made up for with long holes, lots of sand and challenging greens! The staff is super friendly, from the pro shop to the starters to the grounds crew! Rackham is the Cheers of golf courses in my book!!!

Rackham Golf Course offers an amazing golfing experience with its perfectly kept fairways and greens. It's a beautiful and challenging course, and the friendly staff makes it even better.

Great greens and in decent shape for a muni that gets tons of traffic daily. I enjoy playing it a few times a year. The course is pretty wide open with not much penalty areas. It has a couple long par threes but the greens are definitely the main defense of the whole course so there can be some really tricky pins
