First time playing here. Saw this course listed on Group Golfer and decided of buy two rounds. It was about 2 hours and 15 minute drive up to the course which is really out in the middle of nowhere. A few of the staff referred to the course as their "hidden gem". The staff were exceptional, friendly and very informative as to the course rules and some of the tips for playing the course. The clubhouse is a log cabin. Very rustic on the inside and comfortable. They have a nice bar and lots of room for seating plus a deck and outside pavilion. The whole course was in excellent condition. The fairways and greens were great and the rough was well trimmed but thick and tough to get out of at times. The greens were very nice, multi tiered and fast. The fairways were well manicured and definitely where you want to be. The cart paths were dirt but in very good shape. There were a few rough spots but that's to be expected. They have a few wooden bridges/cart paths that are in need of some repair. That's the one draw back to this course but it doesn't take away from the overall condition. If you're wanting to play a links style course then this is a must play! The staff and the course will not disappoint! Loved the experience and will be going back again soon!

To put my review into one phrase: Exceptional golf experience. I had been recommended this course by multiple friends & I had also heard about it from the MDG group. It’s about an hour drive from the east side of Metro-Detroit but it was well worth the drive!! An up-north golf feel, every hole you feel like you’re at the British Open. The Tips are about 6500 yards, the bunkers are encompassed with beach-like sand, well taken care of. The tee boxes were very clean, fairways immaculate & greens played true to feel. Pretty fast but not pool table fast. Exceptional views as you wind through the rolling hills. Not a ton of hazards if you can somewhat keep the ball straight. Clubhouse is a log cabin & the staff is all extremely pleasant & welcoming. I got out on a weekday afternoon and was able to play a solo round in 3 hours. Amazing pace a play, I did not see a cart girl but you could re-up your beverages & food on the turn. Overall the Links at Hunter’s Ridge was a great golf experience for the value and I highly recommend it to others who enjoy golf. I will be back, many times more!

We drove over an hour for our tee time at 7:51am and somehow my buddy made a mistake with the tee time. The course was very under standing and were able to get us out around 8:00am without hindering the other tee times. The assistant pro, Zach, and the starter, Joe, were exceptional and made our experience terrific. We will definitely be back.

We recently participated in a Father's Day golf outing and were looking forward to spending some quality time together. Like many busy dads, we only get out to golf about once a year. When we teed off, there were two open tee times behind us, so there was no concern about holding up play. Despite that, a staff member (an older gentleman with a British accent) repeatedly approached our group, telling us to hurry up, pick up our balls, and move along. The interaction felt unnecessary and rude, especially considering the course was not backed up. For the premium price charged to play, we expected a much better customer experience. Unfortunately, the way we were treated put a damper on what was supposed to be a fun day for fathers and families. Golf is supposed to be enjoyable, and respectful customer service goes a long way. Sadly, this was one of the worst customer service experiences we've had at a golf course.we will not be returning

Played 9 holes here and was shocked at the price. $62 for 9 holes is extremely hard to justify for what is, at the end of the day, a decent public course. The course conditions were fine, but nowhere near the level you’d expect for that kind of pricing. For comparison, many solid courses in Michigan charge less for a full 18-hole round with a cart. It honestly felt like resort pricing without the resort experience. Staff was okay and the layout is decent, but the value just isn’t there. I don’t mind paying premium prices for a premium experience — this wasn’t that.
