I came in on Father's Day to golf with my 12-year-old son. When checking in and paying, I asked the employee at the counter what the Father's Day promotion advertised on the roadside sign was about. I also asked whether the hot dogs were beef or pork, as someone in our group has a food allergy. The response to both questions felt dismissive and unfriendly. When I asked about the hot dogs, I was simply told, "I don't know." Since the information was important due to an allergy concern, I asked again and received the same response. I then asked if someone else could be consulted, at which point another employee chimed in and said, "They're $3," as though the price was all that mattered. I later mentioned the interaction to the cook, who I understand is the owner's sister. She did apologize, which I appreciated, but the overall interaction had already left a negative impression. Unfortunately, it was not the Father's Day welcome I had hoped for for myself and my son. My son is becoming very interested in golf, and we plan to play quite a bit over the coming years. Based on this experience, I'm not sure this will be the course we choose to frequent. I would consider updating or removing this review if management could assure me that this type of interaction is not representative of the standards they expect and that some coaching will take place with the staff.

Even with a wet cold spring, this place has been able to keep their fairways in greens in excellent condition. No it’s not a championship USGA PGA golf course but for 28 bucks you can’t beat it for 18 holes… And on Tuesday you get a hot dog for free on the turn.

Course was nice and the course staff on the grounds were great. However, I’m leaving one star because several employees in the clubhouse were rude, dismissive, and seemed irritated when I politely asked two reasonable questions. This happened on Father’s Day and in front of my 12-year-old son. Once we got out on the course, I turned it into a teaching moment about how to treat people, but it still left a bad impression. I probably won’t return. That said, I would consider removing or updating this review if management reached out and assured me that this is not the standard they expect and that customer service coaching will be provided to the staff. My son is just getting into golf, and we’re currently looking for a home course. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I’m not confident this is the right fit for us.

I honestly loved my round here. It's about $55 bucks for 18 with a cart during prime time. The positive way out weigh the couple negatives. I'll get those out of the way first. The courseis tight in some places, and blind tight in a few too. So, just be aware of your fellow golfer. And the massive power lines are an eyesore. Honestly, this course is beautiful though. For the price, its a 5. The bathrooms in the clubhouse are very nice. The layout of the course is great. Lots of unique hole designs. Very good usage of the massive pond for holes 9 and 18. I intend to play here again and I would absolutely recommend this course.

It's just a great course for the price. The staff was nice and polite. They had hotdogs and good snacks. The golf carts are pretty old and no ice chest on them. The course was in pretty good shape, no dead spots or fairways that had dead areas of dirt. The cart paths were pretty rough but cudos to management for acknowledging it and putting up some signs to let you you were coming up on some rough areas. Course was not as easy as you might think. I enjoyed playing the course and I recommend anyone visiting the Brighton/Howell area play this course.
