Would give it 10 stars if I could. I had a great time here, with the course being very nice and well kept, great selection of snacks and drinks for an affordable price, and above all else the staff was KIND. I don’t see a reason to go any place else unless I’m traveling. This is my home course now.

I called the course to make a tee time for my son and me for Father's Day. I haven't booked a tee time in several years, so I was a little unfamiliar with the process. During the call, I asked if there was a time of day when the course tends to be less busy. The person I spoke with, who sounded like an older gentleman and may have been management or ownership, responded sarcastically by saying, "If you could pick anyyyy time you would like from the whole day, which would you choose?" I found the response unnecessarily condescending, especially since I was simply trying to understand when the course might be slower. Although I initially booked a tee time, after thinking about the interaction I decided not to give my business to a place where guests are spoken to in that manner. My son is becoming very interested in golf, and we are looking for a course where we can play regularly for years to come. Based on this experience, I'm not sure this is the place. If management can assure me that this type of interaction is not in line with the standards they expect and that staff will be coached accordingly, I would consider updating or removing this review. If the person I spoke with was management or ownership, then I hope they will reflect on how these interactions affect guests and future customers.

This course is fantastic, for the cost. It's quite beautiful and well designed. There are very few holes with much danger of rolling onto another fairway. But I will say that when it's busy, you need to be aware while on a few tee boxes. Some of the greens are very close to the next tee box. When the price gets added to the review, it's a 5 star for sure. I definitely intend to play here again. Very friendly staff as well. And a little bonus, just about everything is even cheaper if you pay with cash. Update: Groups of 6 holding up the entire course is ridiculous. I hope this was something that golfers did once they got out on the course. Because of this, the front 9 took us 3 hours. Hopefully, this isn't a common issue. Though it's not allowed on most courses, this type of thing doesn't bother me if they are keeping pace or stopping to let everyone play through.

A challenging golf course north of downtown Howell, MI! Hawk Meadows offers a little something for every type of golfer, from the veteran to the new guy just starting out. Good rates and a well maintained course make for a fun outing. This is a very popular course, especially on the weekends, so plan ahead! Come enjoy your next golf outing at Hawk Meadows!

Ok layout out. Wasn't to impressed with this course. On the back 9 we were stuck behind 2 pairs of golfers on every hole. Apparently they need to be better on scheduling. Over 5 hours to play 18 is unexceptable. I don't plan on going back
