Love the Highlands! The staff is wonderful and the skiing is a lot of fun! Sometimes wish the people who stayed there were a little more considerate of other guests but the hotel cannot really help that. Overall a great stay and a wonderful time! Getting really pricey for how outdated some of the room features are but still comfortable and convenient.

Best lift ever! My wife is terrified of the chair lift but loved the C6 lift that leads to an amazing set of beautiful runs that are tolerable for newbies and fun for creative riding for more skilled riders. The more I explored highlands, the more amazed I was. Such a beautiful place.

My first time was 35 years ago. Took the boys there this week for their first time (19 and 24) for the 24yr olds birthday. Spent three days skiing and boarding. We all loved it! Had a blast. Everyone at the lodge was fantastic! Especially Mark, who was the valet for ski equipment and the entire staff for breakfast! We’ll be back hopefully before end of season and then golf! Save us a spot!

My kid and I come visit Highlands at Harbor Spring for Petoskey soccer tournament. Hands down the best entertainment place for kids. Swimming pool, hot tub, and kids from everywhere. Anita saved my time very big otherwise I would have gone abroad to get what I want. Chris at the bar boosted my energy in a second. Unbelievable.

The ski hill and employees are nice, and the location is great, but this resort has some flaws that overall detract from the skiing experience. Getting from the parking lot to the ski hill is a complete hassle. This resort has ample room and roads to allow for a drop off point in front of the ticket office. Why they choose the layout they have and inconvenience every day skier coming to the mountain is a mystery. Additionally, the cafeteria food is subpar and grossly expensive. I would suggest the owners/managers do a go-n-see to the ski resort across the street to get some ideas, as that resort is knocking it out of the park for drop off and cafeteria
