Amazing staff and a great course! Drove all the way up here from GR and decided to stop to get a round of golf in. The atmosphere here was extremely welcoming. Loved talking to the worker who was at the front. Not only that, but golf was amazing. The environment is a true up north vibe. Would recommend visiting if you ever get the chance!

I’ve golfed here numerous times over the last 2 years and never had an issue, the mosquitoes can be pretty brutal but for the price of playing and how close it is to me I just packed bug spray. But with the new ‘golf pros’ they have hired they have completely ruined a nice gem of a course in northern Michigan. I play 2somes usually with a friend of mine and we bought memberships this year and we both take our own cart to speed up our pace of play, these guys were not having that, I mentioned that we both pay full cart fees and that just made them mad and they made a whole ordeal about it after I’ve done that at lease 50+ times in the last 2 years no issue. After we played a 2 hour 30 minute 18 hole round they told us that cannot happen anymore. When there’s 10 cars in the parking lot. Good way to run away consistent business, plenty of other courses in the area will accommodate.

Played on a Tuesday morning as a single. Course was outstanding and fun to play. This was my first time visiting Michigan. If the courses are like this, I'm looking forward come back to play other courses. The bar has been set very after playing here

Play this course and BYOB! We thought, for the price, and the fact that we had never heard of this course, that it might earn 3 stars. But what a pleasant surprise. The course is a classic ‘Michigan Up North course with tight, tree-lined fairways, a little water, natural landscaping, and interesting greens. You can’t see one hole from the next. The course is in great shape, having mostly recovered from a lightening-caused irrigation problem. The tee boxes and fairways are green, the rough is fair. The putting greens are pristine. We saw no signs of summer burnout in mid September. New hole markers and ball washers. Comfortable gas carts. Go see for yourself before the word gets out and they raise their greens fees. The owners also own a couple motels and campground in Mackinaw City, just 5 miles away. Ask about stay/play discounts. No, I don’t work for them, they just deserve a current positive review. (And with no liquor license, you can bring your own cooler)

Great course. Great staff. Played here yesterday, the course looks easy but it sure fooled me. Best of all was the staff. I wanted a logo ball for my collection but they were out. The young man behind counter went to his car and got me one he found and gave it to me. That's above and beyond.
