Played there for a few years. John and his crew get 5 out of 5 stars. Will continue to play there for a few more years

I have played the course several times over the years. Nice woodsy course, generous fairways, sloping greens. Very pretty in the fall.

I spoke with Jake (or Jack) on the phone, and I’m honestly very disappointed with how the situation was handled. He completely dismissed my concerns about a grown man exposing himself while urinating on a tree in an area where there could easily be children, people walking or running, and drivers passing by on North Ave. Instead of taking it seriously or offering any reassurance that the situation would be addressed, he repeatedly brushed it off and said, “I don’t know what to tell you, sorry you saw that.” There was no indication that he would speak to the individual or ensure it wouldn’t happen again. He also tried to justify it by saying this happens often on golf courses, which is not the same thing at all. This is a public-facing area where people expect a basic level of decency. It makes me question whether the response would be the same if the situation involved a woman. It feels like this behavior is being excused rather than addressed.

Very disappointed. Course is poorly maintained and managed, especially for being one of the more expensive courses in the area. Went to the putting green 15 minutes before our tee time after paying inside the clubhouse and one of the older gentlemen yelled at us to tee off. If we were pressed for time and the course was busy I would understand, but to show up early with the intention of warming up just to be yelled at is pretty ridiculous. Both of the older gentlemen working there are extremely rude and seem to use the clubhouse as their own personal hangout. Literally was turned down to make the turn when there wasn’t anyone there at 5:20. A real shame as this course used to be one of the good ones back in the day. Will not be returning.

Remember folks if you're using a coupon at Marywood you have to actually print the coupon and have one for each of the two people in your group. It was really petty, no accommodation offered. It is cost them a lot in the beer we would have bought
