Fieldstone is one of the courses I play often. It’s a great challenge. The staff is friendly. The pace is pretty good. The price is reasonable. The course is kept in nice condition. They are one of the qualifying sites for the Rocket Mortgage Classic. Fun track.

Been playing league here, along with occasional weekend rounds, for over six years now. At its core, this is still a really fun golf course with a phenomenal layout. One of its strengths is that it offers a great experience for players of different skill levels thanks to the variety of tee box options. Unfortunately, beyond the layout, it has become increasingly difficult to justify playing here. Weekend peak rates pushing over $90 feel excessive for the overall experience being delivered. The tee boxes, in particular, have been in rough shape — not just recently, but for the better part of the last couple seasons. Some are noticeably worn down or nearly unplayable at times. Pace of play has also become a major issue. Five-plus hour weekend rounds are far too common, and even league play teeing off around 5:30 PM regularly stretches past three hours. Considering the amount of staff present during league nights, it’s frustrating that there seems to be little to no active pace management on the course. Customer service has also become inconsistent. The starters are generally great, and Arrowhead Grill deserves credit (though it operates separately), but interactions elsewhere often feel indifferent at best. Perhaps most disappointing has been the repeated experience with lost items. Over the years, our league members have misplaced everything from towels and rangefinders to speakers and coolers, and very few items ever seem to make their way to lost and found. While I don’t want to speculate, the consistency of this issue over several years has been frustrating and disappointing. I used to recommend this as one of the better public golf options in Metro Detroit. The course layout still has that potential, but unless conditions, pace of play, and overall management improve, it’s becoming harder to justify the cost and easier to look elsewhere.

The rangers are still just as rude as ever, and the pace of play is absolutely brutal. You're paying $90+ for a round only to spend the day waiting on every single tee box while the group in front of you is still hitting their shots. Nobody seems to care, there's no effort to keep things moving, and the entire experience feels more like standing in line than playing golf. For the price they're charging, the course management and pace of play are completely unacceptable.

This course is gorgeous, and extremely challenging. We had a great round overall. I would rate this course a 5, but our round took over 6 hours. Im not sure if this was a one off, or a regular occurrence. Regardless, I would highly recommend this course. The staff was super friendly. For the quality of the course, the price is fair. If you want to play a beautiful course with high level of difficulty, give this course a shot.

Nice course! Would play here again. Played on a Wednesday around noon and it was $66 with a cart. They have a driving range if you just want to hit some balls. Really nice bar and grille if you want to grab something to eat. Course is in good condition. Staff is really nice and friendly. Pro shop is really nice.
