We had a wonderful wedding experience at Chequessett. A major storm washed the entire beach away the day before our wedding, and the staff worked tirelessly to rebuild it in time. They truly went above and beyond, and their positive attitudes kept everything calm and beautiful. Our special day was coordinated well and the venue was perfect. We’re so grateful. Highly recommend.

We had the most beautiful wedding here. However, I am giving three stars because coordination with the venue was horrendous and they misrepresented a golfing tournament that was happening the same day. We had about 15 cars for the entire wedding, and they couldn't find parking before the ceremony because drunk golfers, who’s tournament ran longer than promised to us, were wandering around the premises. They are extremely disorganized. The questionnaire requires that you create a layout for their tent and boathouse which was a stressful exercise. The process of selecting wines was also not straightforward or transparent. They will charge you $50 per bottle regardless of it normally being a $10 bottle or an $30 bottle. Also, be warned, that your open bar tab will be about 10k after gratuity. They say they count drinks (at $14 per drink) but we never saw the bartender counting. The bartender was also the RUDEST person I’ve ever encountered, and the drinks she made were not great. Every guest had a story about how outrageously mean she was. This is a gorgeous venue but I recommend that you be a seriously laid back couple willing to spend 60k to 80k and leave a lot up to chance.

My husband and I had our wedding there in June. If you are looking for a laid back, beautiful beach setting for your wedding or event- this is it. Reven, the event coordinator was great! She was helpful and kind and her overall attitude calmed my nerves and made me so happy we chose this venue. Every single one of the staff members that were part of our day were professional and personable. Our entire wedding from start to finish was incredible. Thank you Chequessett!

Chequessett Club can truly be defined as the wedding venue gem of the Cape. Tucked away, laid back, gorgeous views, and not nearly as over-priced as some of the other Cape options. Our guests have complimented the venue over and over. Tracy and her staff were amazing to work with. They truly are wedding pros and somehow ran the behind the scenes so smoothly that if anything did go wrong we would've had no idea. Tracy was a pleasure to work with and gave us excellent recommendations for vendors. She also seemed genuinely excited for us and our big day, which made it all the more special. We are so glad that we stumbled upon Chequessett and would highly recommend to any couple looking for that Cape Cod wedding experience without the hefty price tag.

A Scotttish-Style golf course that is well-maintained and a lot of fun is the big draw, but the large venue that is actually right on the beach pulls in lots of weddings and events during the summer. A very nice course to play!
