First time playing Butternut Farm. Pace of play was outstanding! Even though a wicked storm rolled through the night before conditions were mostly great. The layout is tight and hitting the fairway isn't easy but the design of the course is fun and challenging. Only the 10th hole was ridiculously difficult. The greens were in especially excellent shape! The speed of the greens was consistent throughout the entire 18 holes. My friend shot a 75!! That was fun to watch! Overall Butternut Farm is recommended if you are looking for a fun challenging round of golf. Definitely can recommend it.

Have played this course several times, and it’s truly special. The trees squeeze the fairway tight and can be punishing. The hole design is good and often requires strategic shots. The course condition is good overall, except many of the tee boxes are beat up and aren’t level, and some of the greens have bare patches in the back. Very friendly staff all around and everything is very reasonably priced. Overall an exceptional course in the area.

It was my first time to play on the golf course. The golf course is beautiful and the fairway is very narrow. I was very happy to hit an eagle on the ninth hole (blue T tee shot). I will still want to come here next time.

A solid option with very easy to obtain tee times. This course is very tight with tree lines fairways but if you have the will power to keep the driver in the bag you can score well despite the encapsulated forest. There are many short par 4's that arent drivable but in the middle 350 yard range so you can take a shorter club off the tee and be in great shape. It was a bit buggy when I was out this year but its early in the season. Overall a good experience and affordable. Walkability score 8/10.

There's not enough words to describe how amazing Butternut is! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I had my wedding this past weekend (4/26/25). Everything went flawlessly! That's no accident! It's because of their AMAZING staff, beautiful facility, and their inclusive vendors!! If you are looking for a venue that makes your wedding planning easy, Butternut is the place for you! On top of all of that, the food was DELICIOUS!! Guests told us that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding! I would absolutely recommend Butternut to anyone who is looking for a wedding venue! Trust me, you won't regret it
