One of my favorite courses on the Cape. The Rangers are so nice and helpful. They enforce pace of play but in the right way. They know golf is supposed to be fun and embrace the combination of golf traditions and that goal to have fun. Beautiful course

Brand new carts, greens were in good shape, unfortunately no cart girl for refreshments and couldn't really stop to grab anything due to a fear the ranger would ask us to keep up pace of play.. I'm not sure why but their signature hole isn't the one over the bay anymore.. Tough to end on 2 par 3s... Ill come back in hopes of a redesign.

Enjoyed my round here. Staff were friendly and helpful. Place is pretty open so you can spray it around and not get too punished. Greens are small and firm, tough to hold. Course is on the shorter side so walking 18 wasnt too bad except some pretty steep hills in spots. Only knock is Bunkers had very little sand in them, and couple tee boxes were beat up pretty good. Definitely will play again.

Course was pretty and in great shape! But what would I know, just a female? Was spoken to by the starter (2 older women we were paired with who are avid golfers and my fiancé and myself). Was spoken to by the starter to keep up with the group in-front of us who were then upset when I (don’t play ever) almost hit them on the green 3 times, I understand golf etiquette and what not being a part of camps as a child but this place was nothing more than a pretty golf course. If you go on a weekend (even off season for cape) play fast and play loose, that’s preferred.

So..... I really liked this course. Its well maintained & the layout is great. I got paired up with 2 members, which sometimes can be intimidating they know the course and sometimes I've had members give me an attitude. I actually ended up having a great time with them. This would have 5 stars if it wasn't for the starter. He was letting people off when it wasn't time and held my group up waiting for another person to join. The issue is when that person showed up now it was 15min past the time instead of sending our group. Now the course got completely backed up and I waited on every single teebox for now 20 minutes with nobody behind me. I get its only 20 minutes but I also had dinner plans and had to leave on the 16th hole. Not cool in my book. I booked a time and I was 15 minutes early. If the course wants the respect from the golfers and their tee times then you also need to respect the golfers time as well. They should have sent us out on our tee time and figured something out with the other guy! Let me know how 17 & 18 are?
