Course was in good condition despite the dry summer heat. We had 3 foursomes play an enjoyable 18.

Great local public course... walkable and challenging and they keep it in very good shape ❤️

Played back 9 during the 4th of July weekend. Very hot but the course was green and holes were fast. we were a 2 pair with two carts and a 5:15 start (Last carts out) . Starter was not the type of person you would want to deal with. We all had to work on holiday weekend when we were young, but this individual made it very obvious he was not happy he had to work. Hillview need to replace this poor little boy so he can sit home and collect his well deserved unemployment. I will try again in the next few weeks and see if this was just an individual with mommy issue.

2 stars for bad service and causing me major inconvenience. I called first thing in the morning for a tee time as a single golfer and was told if I show up between 3-4pm I'll get put in a group. I left work early, drove 45 minutes through traffic, showed up at 3:30pm only to be told there was no space for me due to league play. I tried finding a last minute tee time somewhere else in the area, but was unsuccessful. I looked at their website later and there is nothing about leagues playing on Monday.

Kudos to the grounds crew. The greens were prefect. Everything else was in really good shape as well. Pace of play was good at just about 4 hours. The back 9 layout is a like short/funky but definitely worth it to play. Price is right and staff is friendly. Looking forward to playing again there soon.
