While being a relatively short course, you are punished by narrow fairways and a lot of woods. You really have to take care of the golf ball. The grounds are beautiful and the fairways always play nice and soft. They’ve put some effort into the greens - false fronts and other items, which is fun. Great place for a round!

My wife and I came here for our first wedding anniversary. We stayed 2 nights in the mansion and golfed Saturday afternoon. The grounds weer beautiful and our room was spectacular. Golf was great and the whole staff was very friendly. It was easy to tell that they were excited to finally have guests. Overall our stay was fantastic. The one drawback that sticks out was breakfast. We ate breakfast at the Mansion bistro on Saturday morning, which was good, but very expense and included a 15% F&B fee that was also taxed. They also advertised a deal that included breakfast with the room, but this extra fee was not included. They could have just charged 15% more for the item, the extra line item was cheesy. It's the small things that people remember and this was one of them.

This review is for the Spa. Spent a rainy day there. The ladies facilities were very nice. Steam room and dry sauna. Whirlpool room had a huge lovely skylight and fireplace. Bathroom/shower facilities as you would expect. Well stocked and clean. The ladies quiet lounge was comfortable as well. Only comment is it would be nice to have a menu to order a drink or something like that for relaxation while in the spa. There is a cafe but it seems to have lunchtime only hours.

Went there for golf only. A very pleasant course and lovely surroundings. Simple course so relax and enjoy your round.

I'll be honest and admit that I originally disliked this course at first. However, I've been playing here a few years now and have seen vast improvements. I have to give them credit for putting money back into the course. The greens that used to be sloped to the point of being gimmicky, have been regraded so that they're no longer beyond reasonable. They have also built a separate practice green just for chipping. Combined with all the other little things like clearing trees and upgrading their golf carts, I'd say this is an excellent place to golf.
