Oak Hill Country Club in Fitchburg is a Central Massachusetts private course with a reputation for being more demanding than it might look at first glance. The layout has a notable contrast between nines, giving the round a “two distinct chapters” feel and keeping variety high. Classic design influences show up in the way approaches must be placed to the correct portions of greens, not just hit somewhere on the surface. It’s a course that rewards playing from the proper angles and choosing restraint when holes tighten. If you enjoy a traditional private-club test that stays interesting across repeated rounds, Oak Hill is a compelling and character-rich challenge.

Love this place! I’ve gone to 2 events here in the past year. One celebration of life and the other was a Gala. Place was beautiful, food and drinks were fantastic! I would recommend this venue to anyone.

Golf course is very special and historic. Challenging greens and beautiful course. Staff does a great job inside the clubhouse. Food is great. Good value for a country club membership. They keep with tradition but not overly stuffy.
