TPC Potomac carries a championship aura, with a layout that typically feels demanding, strategic, and built to test elite-level shotmaking. The course often places a premium on driving accuracy and positioning, forcing players to pick lines carefully to open the best angles into greens. Approach shots tend to be exacting, with greens and surrounds designed to punish misses and reward precise distance control. When conditions are firm and greens are fast, the course can feel like a true mental grind—pars become valuable and mistakes compound quickly. TPC Potomac feels like tour-style golf: polished, challenging, and unforgettable when you’re playing well.

Course was in great shape for the Quicken Loans National. Lots of food, drinks, places to rest in the shade. Great place to have a PGA event.

Had the privilege to play this with the pro Harvey. This course is a great example of what it looks like to see what the PGA sees. It was tough but fair. The course was in impeccable shape…even in the midst of record heat and humidity. The staff was nothing short of amazing and welcoming from the moment we pulled in the parking lot. If ya get the chance to play…don’t hesitate…say yes.

CLUBHOUSE DINING REVIEW ONLY. Came here for an early dinner Sunday with a friend who has a membership here. The outside venue (course) looked beautiful! We got a table right by the window to enjoy the view. For starters, the Beef Nachos were good. For entrees, enjoyed the Butter Chicken and Bucatini Bolognese, and the Squid Ink Paradelle was okay, a bit bland for my taste and lacked sauce so it was dry. They have happy hour specials from 3:30-6:30pm everyday which is awesome—a good amount of drink/food options too! For dessert, the Carrot Cake was okay.
