Cedar Point Golf Course delivers a distinctly Southern Maryland feel, with a setting that can bring coastal air, open skies, and shifting conditions into play. The layout generally rewards simple, repeatable golf—keep it in play off the tee and you’ll give yourself plenty of chances to score. Trouble tends to show up when you chase pins or get out of position, where angles into greens and recovery shots can get uncomfortable. It’s a course that plays best when you stay patient and take what it gives you. Overall, Cedar Point is a grounded, enjoyable round that feels like a local staple rather than a destination spectacle.

I love this golf course! Well maintained, and affordable with great water views. Must have access to Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

A General Manager and employee robbed me of $20 here for a damaged driver. The employee claims to have inspected the driver but clearly did not as I noticed the driver's damage while teeing, therefore I didn't use it. Once, I finished my 9 holes I returned the rentals as they were given and immediately the employee confronts me about the driver. I inform him that the driver was given to me that way, however he pushes the fact that he inspected it. We talk back and forth with the employee and the GM, but the GM must have been in on it and they end up robbing us of a $20 damage charge. Don't use the rentals here unless you want $5 clubs with a $20 charge. PS the employee had an attitude prior to us purchasing anything. Terrible customer service, ruin experiences. The employee's name was Chris.

Loved the last 3 holes of the front 9 as they are on the flightline. Amazing views all around. Don't go after a rain, though. Lots of standing water makes it quite hard to find the cart path as it stops after the tee box and starts again at or after the green. Altogether a very nice course. Greens are a little on the slower side and, in general, very receptive, but nicely maintained. Carts get the job done. Very nice practice green, a little faster than the on course greens though. 100% plan to play again and would recommend to anyone with base access.
