The Cannon Club is widely regarded as one of Maryland’s premier private golf experiences, often defined by pristine presentation and a layout built for serious players. The design typically rewards strong driving and precise approach play, with greens that demand exact distance control and confident putting. Many holes ask you to commit to a line and execute, because misses can leave demanding recoveries and momentum-shifting mistakes. It’s a course where strategy is essential, but execution is everything—small lapses can quickly show up on the scorecard. The Cannon Club feels elite, secluded, and championship-caliber from start to finish.

The course was in phenomenal shape! Fantastic staff and amenities! Beautiful new outdoor bar and patio. I would have given them 10 stars if I could. Best overall loop I've had all year.

Soft greens, excellent fairways, beautiful course. Staff is helpful and friendly. Carts are very nice, GPS in cart. Bar is excellent and food is great. Course is just in great shape. One of the best courses in the area.
