If you are looking at wedding venues around the Harford County area, Mountain Branch is absolutely incredible! We toured this venue on a whim and instantly fell in love. Words cannot express how much we loved every second of our experience with Mountain Branch; we felt like and continue to feel like family. Christine, the wedding extraordinaire at Mountain Branch, ensured everything was absolutely perfect. From our first meeting with Christine, I felt completely supported and at ease about wedding planning. Her professionalism, responsiveness, care, and kindness at our first meeting was a huge factor in choosing this venue, I could not imagine our wedding day without her. Throughout the entire year of planning, Christine was so supportive and helped answer any questions we had along the way. On the day of our wedding, Christine was on top of everything, the only thing I needed to worry about was enjoying the day. She is truly the best in class. Not only is the venue stunning (seriously go visit), but each and every staff member we interacted with treated us with top notch service every time we visited. This venue has everything! The food is incredible; I am still getting compliments from guests on our food several months after the wedding. There are so many things included in the wedding package; the value is unmatched by other venues. For a less stressful wedding planning, this venue included catering, bar services, table linens, lighting, staffing, set-up, teardown, day of staffing management, a ceremony arch, and the cake provided by a fantastic local bakery. You truly get so much all in one place, and I loved the ease of planning with Mountain Branch. Our wedding exceeded our dreams at Mountain Branch, we could not have been happier. I do not think I can truly express how much I recommend this venue, it was the most fantastic experience! My husband and I look forward to revisiting Mountain Branch’s restaurant, bar, and other events often, they made us feel like family.

The course is amazing, beautiful and well taken care of. The club house is nice and the pro shop is well stocked and managed. The only complaint I have is the lack of proper communication between staff and management at the restaurant. We asked if we could smoke cigars outside to multiple people, which all confirmed “yes”. We overheard a guest make a “that’s disgusting” remark and suddenly the manager popped up, said multiple people complained which before that happened we told the waitress that if it’s bothering anyone we would be happy to move but had previously asked permission. She than proceeded to place us in the corner off of the club house balcony at a fire pit not even a table…. We never had the same server come find us. Someone new brought us our food, the manager than began to frantically cough when the cigars weren’t even lit, and stated “I’ll bring you fresh bread” which never came. They made us feel like the ugly step children of the establishment per the picture provided. Overall, the lapse in communication based off of perception and opinions is one I find very disturbing and absolutely could have been handled very differently. Instead we were shamed and put away from everyone with no alternatives provided after being very polite and asking permission beforehand. Again, very nice course and golf side of things, however the restaurant communication to paying guests is to be desired. Lastly, add condiments to the snack cart on the course. Part 2 Our old server found us, no one told her that the manager moved us to the corner. Korrin and the Ttler bus boy were amazing! The manager never told anyone!

Our 2nd time here with family the food is outstanding I had lamb chops best I have ever had. Service the waiter was great very professional the manager check in with us to make everything was good , desert fabulous bread pudding out of this world I love it

Course was disappointing. Fairways were in rough shape. Rough was long. Tee boxes were sand and dirt. For 69$ on a weekday I was dissatisfied. Staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Would rather play Ruggles, Geneva for a cheaper price and in better shape.

Had a very nice meal. The tuna tartare was fresh, flavorful and delicious. The chicken chesapeake was a 10. Duet ( crabcake and lambchops ) were very good. Bread pudding was moist and decadent. The server Courtney couldn't have been nicer and more efficient. A very enjoyable night. Would definitely come back.
