Congressional Country Club carries a major-championship aura, and the course experience usually reflects that with a big, bold test of tee-to-green golf. The layout tends to demand strong driving, with holes designed to challenge both distance and precision depending on the line you choose. Approach shots often require exact distance control into greens that can be fast, contoured, and difficult to hold when conditions are firm. It’s a course where strategy matters, but execution matters more—small misses can lead to difficult recoveries and momentum swings. Congressional feels like elite golf: iconic, demanding, and memorable from start to finish.

I got to paint a first dance here for a wedding. The ballroom was unreal! Gorgeous venue

We had the privilege of producing a wedding film here recently, and it made for some of our most cinematic work to date. One of our favorite venues to film at— absolutely stunning grounds and top-tier staff.

Attended a fun holiday event at the country club. Food catering: good, crab cakes were delicious, beef was a little dry, pasta selections were good. Atmosphere: classy and fun Service: wonderful and attentive Parking: 2 levels, up and down hills Location: convenient, centrally located in Montgomery County, close to shopping center and nearby cities.
