Spent last summer golfing in Maine and it was fantastic. Played Belgrade for its reputation, and it didn’t disappoint. The views of the lakes, mountains, and pines are some of the best you’ll find on any course. The course is in great shape, with a solid layout that makes the most of the land, even if it’s not perfect. Pace of play was decent, though we had to wait on a few holes. Service was excellent, and the food was top-notch—nothing beats a lobster roll and a cold beer after 18 holes overlooking the lakes. That said, it’s pricey, so for me it’s more of a once-a-year treat, probably by design. They do have limited pre-season card packages to cut the cost a bit, but they sell out quickly to locals. If you’re a serious golfer in the area, it’s worth splurging at least once—you’ll love it.

The nicest golf course I’ve ever played. With the best views someone from Kansas City could ask for. From the friendly clubhouse staff to the starter, to the grounds crew. Every one made you feel at home. I will Absolutely play this course every time I’m in Maine.

Played 09/18/24, with cart 210, had a beautiful Maine Summer day. Course was immaculate, Greens full, fast but fair and receptive, fairways perfect, no need to move ball and no divots to he found, one of my favorites of all golf courses and that includes several high quality Hawaiian courses, 12 minute tee times offer stress free golf with hardly ever seeing other golf groups, only a couple nitpick things, bunkers not the beach sand type and no rakes for players, no GPS on carts, which i find strange for upscale course? Treat yourself if u can, you will enjoy.

Belgrade Lakes is the Maine equivalent of Greywalls in the UP of Michigan. It has more boulders than I can possibly comprehend. Don't get me wrong....I absolutely love them....I've just never seen so many in one place. It was incredible. The conditioning of the course was OUTSTANDING! Everything from tee boxes to the fairways and the greens were simply superb. The views were incredible and the staff was super friendly. For all those reasons and more, it is easily now in my top 10 course experiences. Make whatever plans you have to, to get to this amazing course.

5 stars for sure. Even with all the rain, the course was in excellent shape. Second time playing this beauty. Spectacular golf course. Excellent condition from tee to green. Staff are awesome. Lay out is second to none. Some breathe taking holes. It will set you back $220. A nice chunk of change but do it. Spoil yourself. Belgrade Lakes is worth it. Bucket list!! Only draw back is no driving range. It does have a hitting net. This course in my top 5.
