Rating the restaurant not the course, although we had a great view of the course and it looked lovely. The restaurant was an absolute surprise. We just googled a nearby restaurant and didn't realize it was in the clubhouse until we arrived and the meal was a highlight of our trip to Maine. It was also quiet with a great view.

I really can’t recommend this place. After paying $55 a head for 18 holes we found out there is an extra $25 PER PLAYER cart fee. The course is in rough shape. Greens are ok but sand traps are full of rocks and mud. Not a place I want to use my clubs. Fairways are total garbage. The front nine was tolerable but the back nine is a real disaster. Pro shop is sparse to say the least. One saving grace is the restaurant. It’s great and the female bartender working there was super nice and provided good service.

Played here a few times over the years and will never be returning. 4/5 years ago this course was great, loved every aspect of it and everything was well kept, cared for, and in good shape. Last year when I played here, things were starting to go downhill and it was reaching a price that made you contemplate if it was worth going or not. Fast forward to this year, I played in peak season on July 25th, 2026 and it was the most horrendous conditions possible. Only thing green about the course was the greens and I don't think they were even rolling at an 8 on the stimp meter, wicked slow and still recovering from being punched. Fairways were brown, grass clippings everywhere from being mowed (if you can call it that) and the fairway needed a lot of attention to be playable. The individual working in the "pro shop" (no balls available for purchase, no drinks in there, no tee's, barely any gloves or clubs for sale, honestly a joke of a pro shop now) had a very cocky "i don't want to talk to anyone" attitude and clearly didn't care to be there whatsoever. The tee boxes were in rough shape, divots everywhere and you could not fill them in because the sand containers on the cart's were not full (all of ours in my group were actually empty). Hitting off of the tee boxes was closer to hitting off of turf on concrete, just abysmal tee box conditions. Considering that the course had their club championship coming up the following day on July 26th, 2026, they should be ashamed of the current conditions of the course. Whoever took over ownership of this course clearly has no care for the course whatsoever and wants it to fail. Maintenance needs to be stepped up tri-fold, employee's need a better attitude, and the price needs to be lowered. $81 to ride 18 is a joke and an honest waste of money in the courses current conditions. Do NOT come here, I will never be returning.

Would give a zero if I could: My boyfriend, his buddy, and I paid $80/pp to play 18 holes at Bath Country Club today, and it was easily one of the worst golf course experiences we’ve ever had. The course conditions were absolutely unacceptable, especially for the price. I do want to mention that the staff was very, welcoming, friendly, and helpful; the one bright spot of our visit. However, their kindness couldn’t make up for the condition of the course. The rough was so overgrown that we lost 15 golf balls throughout the round, not because of bad shots, but because even balls that landed just off the fairway were nearly impossible to find. The “sand traps” weren’t sand at all; they were essentially hard-packed clay. It was obvious that course maintenance has been neglected. Hole 11 is a really unique and fun concept, but even that couldn’t make up for the poor condition of the course. Instead of being a highlight, it just reinforced the feeling that the property isn’t being properly maintained. What made this even more surprising is that the course was hosting its championship tournament the very next day, arguably its biggest event of the year. If this is the condition they present for their premier tournament, that’s incredibly disappointing. I’m not even a golfer, and even I could immediately tell the difference between a well-groomed course and one that has clearly been neglected. If someone who doesn’t regularly play golf can see how poorly maintained the course is, that should say everything. For $80, this course is nowhere near worth the price. Save yourself the money, frustration, and lost golf balls. There are plenty of other courses that take pride in their conditions and provide a much better experience. We definitely won’t be back anytime soon.

I am a member here and have been playing this year since the course first opened in early April. I can say that you won't find a more laid back, fun course in the area. The price, especially with a membership, is very good. The people who work the pro shop are genuinely nice and recognize you after a few rounds. The course has never been too crowded to the point where I can't just ask to play another 9 if I want to. The course itself is challenging, with some uphill greens that can be tough to approach. The grass is well maintained, without any crazy rough or areas that look like they have been forgotten about. Since late April they have been doing some work on the traps and I have a feeling they're going to look great once things dry out a little more. The back 9 holes are definitely a little bit different than the front, especially hole 11 which has a challenging rock face in the center of the hole that can stop you dead if you play from the white tees. However, I have been having a great time here and would highly recommend it to someone looking to have a nice, easygoing game.
