As the title said I only paid $30 for 18. The driving range was closed due to previous heavy rains. The warm up green was on target for pace and conditions. The greens were in amazing shape but the fairways less so. I took some pictures of the current conditions. There were numerous points on the course where there was standing water and make shift ponds. The bunkers appeared to be in good condition too. Although the fairways were bare in areas there was enough grass to play my shots. There were many other areas where there was clearly ground under repair. All the carts have GPS trackers with no screens. There were a few areas where the cart shut down and I had to put the cart in reverse. There were water cans out and there were a few portable toilets. No beverage cart but I can let that go because it was Mother’s Day. For the price I would play this course again but it it definitely rough. I would like to see the course when it is dry. The course is also pretty much what you see is what you get.

Great layout, there’s a few stretches where it has very very birdie-able holes and then holes that feel impossible to par. Greens are in fantastic shape. I’m not lying, go check it out for yourself. The fairways and bunkers could use some work. The fact that the greens are in literal perfect shape and the course layout is so fun and solid I’d say it’s worth a trip!

Played here yesterday, the greens were in pretty good shape but slow. The fairways, however, is another story. There was barely a fairway on the front 9 that didn’t have several large holes, with very dangerous width and depth. The back 9 was a little better but also had large holes Some of the holes were marked but several were not. I found this to be very dangerous.

Great golf experience at Oak Harbor Golf Club. The layout is fantastic with a surprisingly hilly design for this area, which makes the course very interesting and fun to play. The elevation changes give many holes a unique character and great views around the course. The greens were absolutely fantastic—very smooth, fast, and among the best I’ve played recently. If you like quick greens, this course will definitely challenge your putting. The staff was friendly and the overall atmosphere relaxed and welcoming. Pace of play was reasonable, making for an enjoyable round from start to finish.

I recently played at Oak Harbor Golf Club and had a very frustrating experience. To start on a positive note, Ted (the course warden) was excellent—friendly, helpful, and the only person who showed genuine customer service during our visit. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the sales staff. Sam was unprofessional and came across as rude and dismissive when handling a simple situation. I paid for two golfers (around $120) and brought my girlfriend along, but was told she couldn’t ride and that I would need to pay an additional fee for a second cart. I fully understand safety rules like not allowing three people on one cart—but charging extra for a second cart after already paying for two golfers feels like a money grab, especially with zero effort to accommodate the situation. What made things worse was being told the course was “fully booked” and that they couldn’t spare a cart, which was clearly not the case. The course was far from full, and that explanation felt dishonest. Because of this entire situation, my 10:05 AM tee time turned into nearly an 11:00 AM start, which is unacceptable when you’re paying good money to play. The course itself is in good shape, but the way this was handled left a bad impression. Between the poor customer service and questionable policies, I’ll definitely think twice before coming back.
