Northwood Hills is by far my favorite course in the area. It’s both fun and challenging for all levels of golfers while also being reasonably priced. Greens and fairways were both looking great during my rounds and I expect they will be even nicer as we move closer to the summer months. The staff at Northwood Hills are some of the nicest people you will meet. Ms. Linda and the team in the pro shop will take great care of you.

The greens have piles of sand on them and way overgrown, the customer service was absolutely terrible, my girlfriend had to pay $59 to ride in the cart with me (which was never mentioned when I called and said I would have a rider), and the owner had a terrible attitude and spoke to my girlfriend and her friends in a way he should never. I will never come here again and I can’t express enough how you should go spend your money at literally any other course. If I could give 0 stars I would.

If I could leave a negative star I would. The pro shop employees are rude. The “bar tender thing” rude. Didn’t even serve us or ask if we had been help. Keep in mind we were in there for 10 15 minutes. Course is mid and poorly maintained. Don’t blow your money coming out here. I Will not be back.

Absolutely horrible customer service. My son’s 8 month pregnant wife paid another $60 to ride along with him to spend time together and watch. Instead of showing any kind of courtesy, they made his pregnant wife pay just to sit in the cart and be with him. The cart was already paid for! No golf, no amenities, just riding along to support her husband, and they still charged her. That’s not how you treat customers, especially not someone who is pregnant and just trying to spend time with family. Policies are one thing, but basic decency and customer service should come first. This place clearly cares more about squeezing a few extra dollars out of people than treating guests with respect.

My husband, my friend, and I came to this club on a Saturday morning and teed off at 8 am. When we booked a tee time, we never were told of an increase in riders fee. We were charged $59 for me to ride with my husband and his regular charge of $60 to play. There is nothing online that says there is an increase in charge, and nothing in the pro shop, either. When I asked about the increase, the lady at the front desk slung the computer towards me and said I was hurting her business by riding with my husband and that’s why she needed to charge me that. She was very impolite and rude. She told me she was fully booked and we were taking a golf cart away from other people. There were plenty of available times to book online, so we didn’t understand the rudeness. When we came around from home 9, there were 14 carts still available… and when we finished hole 18, there were 11 carts still available. We understand there’s a policy, but the customer service after spending $120 was uncalled for.
