Description

Historic lakeside club with roots to 1919 and a Ralph Plummer redesign that shaped the modern course in the 1950s. The routing moves along live-oak corridors with strategic water guarding several approaches, asking for control more than brute force. Conditioning is a point of pride, and recent enhancement work has kept green sites firm and interesting. Its mid-6,600-yard length plays longer when Gulf breezes pick up across the open stretches. A strong practice complex and active tournament calendar make it a hub for the local golf community.

The staff at Lake Charles Country Club were stellar! The loading dock was clear and easy to use. The building and property is what you'd expect a great country club to be. We had the amazing pleasure to DJ Hillary & Milo's wedding May 18, 2024 and it was so fun! The Champs Tequila blasted as carts of tequila rolled onto the dance floor. We can't wait to come out again for our next event.

I had a perfectly cooked filet mignon and the red snapper was phenomenal it was all cooked to perfection. And did I mentioned the crabcakes were amazing.
