Very over priced for such a average course. Greens were in very bad shape. The grass was very thick in the faraway, had lots of trouble finding our balls. Most of the cart paths were dirt and gravel. Also, no restrooms on the course, other than the club house. Would not have a problem paying $25 or even $30 on a Friday, but not $45. They should at least offer senior discounts.

Great Golf course. Tight and challenging. The greens stay in reasonable shape, year round. Pace of play is never an issue. Ran by wonderful and friendly people. Ludicrously low priced beer.

PLEASE TAKE TIME TO READ!!! Having a casual day enjoying golf when approached my the male manager, name is Phill. Every time we go to this course, even though we have been members for over a year, he has harassed us EVERY single time. Whether it was to tell us not to do something all of his buddy’s were doing because we were young or just telling us rude things. We got into an altercation about me saying how rude and harassing he was, and the conversation ended with him saying “F you”. Everyone in the staff besides Phill are great people. DO NOT WASTE MONEY.

The condition of the golf course has improved significantly over the last year and continues to do so… However, the price is absurd after multiple increases recently. It is now $59 for a round on the weekend compared to $55 for a round at places in the Lake Charles area that offer a lot more and are nicer courses. The price for member cart rentals has went up as well without notification to members. I understand that they want to make more money but you can’t do that with these price points. It is only pushing people away from going. Maybe offer more food/snack and drink options or have events with discounted rates to bring in golfers. There are no twilight, senior citizen, or veteran discounts to entice anyone to go. Lower prices = more golfers = more money

The good... Staff was welcoming and pleasant, relatively a fun course with water and out of bounds clearly marked. The bad.... the entire course is in very rough shape. Many tee boxes were dirt and others overgrown. The greens were all over the place in quality. Some ok and others just horrible. Many areas of the fairways were dirt or hardpan. Much of the course really needs water.
