Eagle's nest is a decent course with mediocre fairways and lightning fast greens. The course is well laid out and makes good use of the hills and valleys around Somerset. The staff were mostly friendly and helpful. The carts were simply atrocious. One cart died on the 5th hole, the other 3 carts in our group didn't have functioning brakes (brakes are a necessity on this course). The parking brakes didn't work and we often had to leave the carts resting against the curb, or even trees, to prevent them from rolling away. There was no potable water on the course and no drinking fountains available at the pro shop. I think we'll choose to pay less and have a better, safer experience at Burnside next time.

I’m new to the Area and was looking to test a few courses out so I called Eagles Nest.I asked if I could come try the range and they told me NO. I was wanting to get a feel for the course but with that type of treatment to a potential member I passed and decided to become a member at General Burnside. While I was playing a scramble this past Wednesday other members told me they have received the same treatment by Eagles Nest. Can’t really rate anything other then customer service but for that I give 1 ⭐️

Great course love the layout and staff seem friendly.

Nice golf course practice area is topnotch. I was just there for a putting refresher. Tim was a topnotch instructor very professional and helped me work out some bumps in my putting that wasn't supposed to be there.
