Played April 22, 2022. From Cincy but always been intrigued by this course as you can see one or two holes from I71. Ok.. the good parts are.. It’s a beautiful design and layout. Very challenging and hilly. Lots of undulations on the greens. The kind of undulations that you have to play several times to score well. The course meanders through mostly expensive homes. There are homes along most of the course.. but plenty of space. The bad.. The fairways are chewed up. I thought it was some sort of aeration at first but the fairways are currently non existent. You either have bald spots or crabgrass. It’s a beautiful course that looks like a dog with mange. I’d def play it again. Hope they get the grass situation fixed. Nice range and no putting green. There is a small chipping area just right if the range.

Saturday & Sunday they stack tee times every 8 minutes, so enjoy your 5.5 hour round. $73 for a Walmart CS experience. Those poor members.

Tough course, mostly tight layout.... Greens have a ton of slope... Get it off line and big numbers happen quick!!! Bunkers not cared for properly and the cart paths are in some places about as bad as you can find at any city golf course... But this place is worth playing 💯

I love the location, being as I live in the East End of Louisville. Tons of slopes, tons of bad lies, but certainly challenging, and fun. The staff has this sort of snooty heir about them. It’s borderline uncomfortable. Almost like they think they’re cooler than you. A couple years back you were giving away sandwiches, and drinks with the green fees, just to get people to play here. Now you’re better than us? That’s a huge turn off for me. Plenty of cool holes to play, and it’s close to home, so that’s what keeps me coming back. The par 3 with the waterfall is a local favorite for me as well.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and the tee boxes and greens were in great shape. You can tell they put effort into maintaining those areas. That said, the fairways were noticeably slow, which took away from the overall playing experience. The pace of play was also too slow, especially considering the price—it just didn’t feel like a great value for what you’re paying. Additionally, the bathrooms weren’t very clean, which is something that definitely needs improvement. Overall, there are some strong positives, but a few key areas need attention to match the price point.
