Played 10/02, had a noon tee time as a single and was able to get off at 11:45 when a twosome let me go ahead on #1, had a foursome let me go ahead at the turn and finished ar 2:15. To be sure it doesn’t always happen this way at this course, nor does always at the clubs I’ve belonged to but it happened today. I played here about a month ago and to be honest some of the greens did show signs of stress due to this brutal summer, some fairways as well. Thought all but maybe two greens were excellent and the two that have issues are being addressed. Thought fairways and approaches were outstanding. The rough I found to be typical for this transition zone and will play much different after the first frost. All in all I found The Pearl Club an excellent choice today for the money, far better than any other public offering in nearby Warrick County to be sure. Grounds staff very courteous, well played.

Played this course for the first time…and also first course to play in KY. Traveling from TX en route to Bloomington for a tourney. Course is just beautiful! Challenging and in great shape! Very friendly staff. Highly recommend this one! Also enjoyed playing back 9 with a local player.

Great course. My favorite in the area. For the price its my all time favorite. Terry and Melody are always very nice and friendly, something you never see anywhere else. The owners make you feel like family. Pro shop staff is very knowledgeable and you might even be able to get a free tip or two. Very nice merchandise in the pro shop. Usually have hats and shirts on sale. Very nice golf bag and putter selection. I bought a Titlest 915 hybrid a couple of years ago and they beat everyone on the price. Now with that being said it was a club that had been out a while and the new model was coming out. Even so their prices on CURRENT clubs are very competitive. Golf carts are the best you can get. Free bottles water in the cooler and free tees. Greens are always in great shape fairways are average for this time of year, but by memorial day they are full and plush. Its a very relaxing setting yet still a challenge for any golfer at any level. I always play BLUE tees. They are a good middle of the road tee box, they also have ladies tees junior and senior tees, then the Blues with the Gold behind them and if your really up to the challenge the black tees or as many call them THE TIPS are there and it really changes several holes. If you are a walker I would definitely recommend a pull cart, but actually I wouldn't recommend walking this course due to a few holes have quite a bit of distance between the green and next tee box. The real reason I like this course so much is because this is the first place I ever broke 80. The greens roll nice and true. If I had to suggest any improvements it would be maybe have better sand in the traps but they are consitant. Also I'd love to see a "Cart Girl" on weekends but that's about it. I really love this Golf Course. Great place for the quality of golf you get this place is a very good value. The owners have done a great job overcoming some circumstances and hurdles that were both unforeseen and out of their control, by that I mean a few yrs ago they lost a lot of fairways as did most golf courses in the area due to a warm fall and early winter followed by a hard freeze just a few days after it was in the 70 degree range. Followed by a deep freeze. I remember playing in early Dec that year and it was 70 the last day I played and the next day the bottom dropped out and the temp fell below freezing the grass had been getting cut up until then it killed a lot of fairways that season. Played there on Father’s Day. Paid for 18 but could only play 9 because of EXTREMELY slow pace of play and 2+ hours on the front 9 is outrageous. At one point, I was waiting 15 minutes to tee off because 3 other groups were on the same hole, just playing slow. Where was the ranger at??? Overall the course is beautiful and fun but slow pace of play really soured my experience. Also, why is the machine to get a bucket of balls so far away from the driving range???

Classless club. Had a tee time at 12:36 and we were slightly backed up all round by a slow twosome. Bypassed the turn to save time for everybody, and was still backed up by a slow twosome. On hole 12, a threesome who had been behind us most of the round drove up while we were mid-shot to ask to play-through, which we agreed to even though we were backed up in front of us. They had called the pro shop on us prior to us letting them play through we found out later. After one hole, one of the groundskeepers drives up and screams at us that we are playing too slow and to let people play through. We calmly explained how we were backed up by a twosome and then had allowed the threesome to play through (which further slowed us down), but the groundskeeper repeatedly screamed at us that we have to play quicker or we will be removed. We then proceeded to catch back up to the threesome and twosome, and finished the round at 4:25, under four hours. Don’t expect to have a calm, fun round here. We were under pace for the round and nobody at the club would accept our explanation and instead treated us with disrespect to favor their members. Good luck. Also the group proceeded to step up to the tee box and 1 went 90 degrees right, and another went 90 degrees left.
