The course is a tough test for golfers of all abilities. It's not too long off the tee but narrow fairways and small greens make ball striking a premium. You definitely have to land well before the pin and allow for 10 yards of release. The maintenance staff sure does a great job of keeping the course in top shape. There's a lot of huge homes on the course that add to the beautiful scenery. The restaurant has great food and there's also a short course for families that you can play with a wedge and a putter. You definitely need to check out the course if you're in the Lexington, Kentucky area.

Very slow pace. Most people who play slow do not let you play through, not a very friendly atmosphere in terms of members. Very very slow pace. takes about 5 hours to get 18. sometimes 9 holes can take 2 - 2 and a half hours.

They gouged everyone for spectator carts. Two day 220 dollars. Highway robbery. The course had large patches of new sod everywhere. Two years ago I needed a cart for my handicapped wife and they would not reserve one. The course is not very friendly to the public

I highly recommend hosting an event at Keene Trace. The nonprofit, Mission 108 hosted its annual fundraising event at Keene Trace this past November. The entire Keene Trace team was friendly, welcoming, and professional. Keene Trace ensured all our needs were met in order for the event to be a great success! All the guests were well taken care of with excellent service. I look forward to hosting more events at Keene Trace.
