Very challenging course, plenty of elevation to add to the level of difficulty. Clubhouse was well stocked, and there was some food to eat and beverages to drink. I walked but 2 of people in the group had a cart. Cart was nice and had a GPS tablet with an app running showing hole layout, and green elevation. The rough was very deep and easy to loose a ball, helped a few golfers that hit a bit long and off the hole they were on, no way they would've found the ball otherwise.

I really like this course, it's difficult. Usually in decent shape. Lots of interesting holes. My rating is effected by tight tee times on a very busy golf course and the staff are not friendly and pushy. I don't like to be told to speed up play when we are waiting at every tee station for the group ahead. I had people in from out of town playing with me and we were playing 2 man best ball. We're fast. We waited on every hole. We didn't complain but on the turn grabbed a dog and drink and we're told to hurry up and get on the tee as there were groups behind us. We did only to wait at 10 just like every hole. Friendly staff makes a big difference when you over book.

A legendary Louisville course, that is a blast to play. For the amount of people that play there, the course is so well kept. The folks that work there from the clubhouse, to maintenance deserve a ton of credit. This is a high volume place, and you barely notice the volume of play on most holes. I truly enjoy playing this course, and I love the area. Great job guys, you deserve a ton of credit for keeping this place is so awesome!

I know it's still early in the season, but the fairways were very spotty, not alot of grass compared to other courses locally. Greens were very nice, rolled very well. Tee times, 7 minutes apart! My group was getting hit into on every hole, and waiting in every tee box for the group in front. I understand the need to make money, but there is such thing as overbooking.

I love this course but there’s always some things I don’t like so much. Firstly, the course layout and environment is unmatched. The play through time is roughly 4 1/2 - 5 hours for all 18 . The things I personally am not a huge fan of is the staff, people aren’t always going to wear the top their golf attire as this isn’t a top tier golf course. It’s not forced here but pro-shop workers like to talk behind your back. I also wasn’t a fan of the ranger telling us to speed it up when we have a walking 4 some playing right in front of us. Other than the simple little things that don’t ruin the experience fully it’s not a bad course at all. One thing I REALLY don’t like is them waiting for you to pay them telling you that you will be matched with another group. People come to play golf with their partner, it’s not hard to find a group of friends who want to play together so when a two person group comes in let them play their game. The people I’ve been paired up with were awesome people and I had a blast but I didn’t pay $100 to play with other people.
