This course is an absolute dog track. I was extremely disappointed. The sand traps are either hard as concrete or they are being reclaimed by grass due to lack of proper maintenance. The fairways are dying for the most part and the rough is a joke. It makes Bethpage or Oakmont blush. The only redeeming feature is the greens. They were in surprisingly good shape when contrasted against the rest of the course. I’m straining to come up with a reason to ever return. Tee boxes were ok. The course just gives dated, well past its prime vibes. I definitely want some of whatever the people who gave this course 4 or 5 stars are on…

The course really is in need of repair. Fairways are full of weeds and bare areas. The one redeeming quality were the greens . They were in pretty good shape. I really hope it can get back to the way it was as it can be a really nice course.

Great course but watch your ball closely if you're like me and spend some time off the fairway. Lots of rain this year has the rough in ball eating mode. Greens were slowish but ran nice.

Played this course today and couldn't have been more disappointed. The fairways are OK but the grass, or should I say clover, in the rough around the entire course was so long that everyone had to spend a long time looking for their balls and usually unable to even find them. There is ZERO sand in the traps. They are dried up dirt holes, except for a few that were filled with 2 to 3 inches of muddy water. Very sad to see, what used to be a great place to play golf, go so far downhill.

I hate giving bad reviews, but this one is warranted. After remembering how Kearney was back in the early 2000s, I recommended meeting an out of town friend of mine to play here for a round of golf. It has devolved so much. First impression was an overgrown parking lot and clubhouse, a dilapidated sign for the course, and a weed smell all around the clubhouse. The pro shop was shut down and in the grill area and I didn’t see an adult staff member the entire time there. Once out on the course, the fairways and greens were in decent shape, especially given all the rain lately , but heaven help you if you get off the fairway. The immediate rough is minimum 5 inches long with insane clover that made it next to impossible to find your ball or hit out of it. It looked like there were 2 months of dead grass clippings everywhere. I was greatly disappointed in what used to be a pretty amazing course.
