This place is so much fun. 27 holes--very playable, party atmosphere on the course--not really for the stuffy country club crowd. The hotels are clean, but nothing fancy. Perfect for a guys or girls getaway. The staff is super friendly, especially the restaurant servers and manager. Our group has been going for over 15 years. They now have karaoke on Fridays, which is hysterical. Brightleaf forever!

Played a golfweek tournament here. I really enjoyed playing here. The scenery of the main course was beautiful and the course was in good shape. I played both the executive 9 and the main 18 hole course. The executive course was a bit quirky but enjoyable. It was a good warmup for the 18 hole course. The pitch and putt course looked fun. It's lighted! The main course is pretty short and generally wide open. So, you have a good opportunity to score well. The greens were big and a touch slow, but no different than most munis. They roll true and have some tricky undulations. The teeing areas needed work. Several of the blue tees were such that your lead foot was higher than your trail foot. It appeared they tried to jam in some of them to make the course longer. The grass on the fairways and tee was more like a first cut rough than a tight bentgrass fairway. The rough wasn't very penal, so bombs away. Just stay away from the trees. The food was also good. I ordered a turkey melt on the tee of hole 9 of the executive course and it was ready by the time I got to the restaurant. The buffet looked good too. The course is not current in the GHIN database. 4/5. I would play here and possibly stay for a night or two with a large group.

The rooms are poor!! It’s like a college dorm. We had a double room and the bathroom is tiny. The golf course was nice and well maintained. The pro or what ever he is was very unorganized and would take his time waiting on you. As we played the front nine he would send people of the back as we were making the turn. Golf on a budget it’s fine. The restaurant was close and the workers awesome, food was ok.

Fantastic get away for group golf. Course was in great shape and the ladies in the 19th hole are absolutely fantastic. Rooms are not 5 star but most time spent golfing

A fun place to enjoy golf while taking in the beautiful landscape. With a variety of courses-the fun of golfing never ends. Attentive staff, very polite and are eager to assist. Would definitely return.
